Chapter 2: Cosmic Computer-Quantum

The universe is a huge computer. Its energy and matter are its hardware. And is physical laws are its software. - Where is this cosmic software sitting? Where are the physical laws and the fundamental constants written down? In which language has the Creator written them down and stored? At how many places are the physical laws of our physical universe written down and stored? How large is this storage of cosmic information? Within how much space is its text written down? And how fast is one able to find this physical information and to use it? And how fast is one able to switch the needed information off again, when one does not need it anymore?

The physical laws, needed to make and to operate the material universe, the Creator has written down and stored within each basic particle of energy and matter, within each energy-quantum. This cosmic energy-quantum may appear in many different forms: as a radiation-wave (photon), for instance, and as a rest-mass wave, the building block of matter.

The physical laws (and their fundamental constants) are written down onto (or into) their energetic or material carrier in different numerical codes, mathematical languages. The radiation wave (photon), the rest mass wave (the building block of matter), the atom, the molecule, the solar system, and the galaxy: They all do contain the same software. They all do contain the information, which one needs, to make and to operate the whole material universe. But in each case, only a small part of these physical laws is used. Only the needed physical laws are recalled from the energy-quantum’s cosmic software storage. All the other stored physical laws, which are not needed then, remain "switched off".

Also the particles (or waves) of the four interacting forces, which are ruling the universe, are cosmic computer-quanta: The strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, the electromagnetic force, and the gravitational force. Each one of their interacting particles contains also all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole universe. These four interacting forces only differ from each other, because within each one, only the physical laws for this one type of interaction has been recalled from the whole stored cosmic software.

Under certain conditions, the interacting forces are interchangeable with subatomic particles. One may be changed into the other one. This shows us, that also subatomic particles and interacting forces are only different forms of the same thing: of the energy, from which they are made. The encoded physical laws, stored within each energy-quantum of the universe, stay the same. They will not change with time, as some have thought. Only the needed physical laws are recalled, activated, and used. The other physical laws, not needed, remain in their storage within their wave/particle.

If, for instance, a radiation-wave (photon) is to be made, only the physical laws, needed to make and to operate this radiation-wave are recalled from their storage, are "switched on", are used. - If an electron-positron-pair is to be made, only the information, needed to make and to operate this electron-positron-pair is recalled, is "switched on". All the other information that was switched on in this wave/particle before, is then switched off.

The first computer-quantum

Each radiation-wave (photon) and each rest-mass-wave (building block of matter) is a cosmic computer. It is the hardware, wherein the cosmic software is stored: all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole material universe. It is operative information.

The cosmic information is like the genetic information in a living creature down here on earth: the information, which is written down on the DNA of plants, animals, and human beings. Most of their cells do contain DNA. On this DNA, all the genetic information, needed to make the whole body and to keep it alive, is written down and stored. But only a small part of this large amount of stored software is used at a certain time: Only those programs that are needed then. All the other genetic information, stored on the DNA of each one of those cells, remains dormant.

A plant, an animal, and a human being do begin as a single, fertilized cell. This one fertilized cell contains already all the information, needed to make and to operate this living creature. At each stage of its growth, only the needed genetic information is recalled from its storage, is being used. Their programs are realized.

In a similar way, also our material universe has begun once with one single cosmic computer-quantum, with one single energy-quantum. This first energy-quantum was the first cosmic computer. It contained already all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole material universe. All the four forces, interacting with the particles of the universe, have at first been one single interacting force: The strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, the electromagnetic force, and the gravitational force. The interacting forces and the subatomic particles are only two different forms of the same thing: of the cosmic software, ruling the material universe. But one cannot deduce the genetic code from the physical laws of inorganic matter, as some self-organization experts have wrongly claimed. Because the Creator has written them in two entirely different languages.

Result

Physical laws are ruling the material universe. The whole universe is a huge cosmic computer. The physical laws are its software, and its energetic/material parts its hardware. But where in the universe are these physical laws sitting? Where are they written down and stored?

The physical laws are written down in different codes (mathematical languages) on an energetic/material carrier. I call this energetic/material carrier the "basic energy-quantum" and "cosmic computer-quantum", since each one of them is such a cosmic computer. It contains all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole material universe. This cosmic computer appears in different forms.

Each particle of the four interacting forces is such a cosmic computer-quantum, a cosmic computer: the photon of the electromagnetic force, the graviton of the gravitational force, the gluon of the strong nuclear force, and the weakon of the weak nuclear force. The particles of these four interacting forces are - under certain conditions - interchangeable. At first, they were still all united into a single interacting force. All the particles and antiparticles, produced in pairs, like the electron-positron, neutrino-antineutrino, quark-antiquark, are - under certain conditions - interchangeable. This means: If the electron-positron-pair has enough energy, it can be changed into a quark-antiquark-pair, within a fraction of a second. At first, when the universe was born, there was only one basic type of particle-antiparticle-pair.

Each type of particle can - under certain conditions - be changed into another type of particle. They all do contain the same cosmic software: all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole material universe. In each type of wave or particle, only a certain subprogram of its cosmic software is switched on. All the other subprograms, not needed then, remain switched off.

One proton (made up of quarks, gluons, weakons, and photons) and one electron get together and become a hydrogen-atom. Out of this hydrogen atom, all the other heavier types of atoms are then made. And out of these atoms, the molecules, solar systems, and galaxies are then made. This proves to me that all the energetic and material parts of our universe, at their different organizational levels, do contain the same set of physical laws (cosmic software). But in each case, in each type of wave or particle, a different software-program has been switched on in the storage of its basic energy-quantum or cosmic computer-quantum. The physical laws are written down in different codes (mathematical languages) on energetic/material carriers. The different programs are recalled from their storage through a certain code-number in the form of a certain threshold-temperature.

Within how much space is the cosmic software written down in (or on) its basic energy-quantum? - Each photon and each neutrino, for instance, is such a cosmic computer, containing within itself all the physical laws. Within 1 cubic centimeter of "empty" space, there are about 400 photons (radiation waves), mostly with a temperature of 2.75 K (of the microwave background radiation). And within this same cubic centimeter of "empty" space, there are at least as many neutrinos. This, there are at least 800 cosmic computer-quanta within 1 cm³ of space. Each one of these wave/particles contains all the physical laws, needed to make the material universe and to keep it going.

The cosmic computer is as powerful as the most powerful super-computer, built by man. It is working faster and more precisely. And it contains much more information. We should remember here: Man is able to build a computer. But he cannot even make the simplest physical law, because it is too complicated. This proves to me, that much more scientific and technical know-how is needed, to make the physical laws, than to make a computer down here on earth.

All the photons (radiation-waves) in the universe are moving through space with exactly the same speed: with the speed of light. - Why not a little faster or a little slower? How do they "know", that they must move with this speed of light? Why are they all obeying the same physical laws: not only down here on earth, but also in other parts of our cosmos, billions of light-years away? Each electron throughout our universe is exactly like every other electron. And it obeys the same physical laws. And each proton is just like every other proton: of exactly the same size. - Why?

Our material universe has a border, an edge. Among astrophysicists it is known as the ‘cosmic horizon’. Beyond it, we cannot see. When looking toward the outer edge of our universe, billions of light-years away, we are looking into the distant past. When seeing a light-wave, which began its journey through space some 10 billion years ago, we are looking back 10 billion years into the history of our universe.

The photons of the microwave-background-radiation do have a temperature of 2.75 Kelvin. They are coming to us from all sides from the cosmic horizon. For some 10-15 billion years, these radiation-waves have obeyed the same physical laws, as they do today. This proves to me, that all the cosmic software (all the physical laws, needed to make and to operate the whole universe), have come from one tiny, original cosmic energy-quantum. Everything in physics has a cause. What or who, then, made the first cosmic computer with all of its physical laws?

This egg contains already all the genetic information, needed to make the whole adult butterfly: its main-program. This genetic main-program has several subprograms, needed to realize its different stages of growth: from fertilized egg to caterpillar (larva), to pupa, to adult butterfly. Each one of these subprograms is only switched on, when needed. All the other subprograms will remain dormant, until needed.

Our universe arose at time zero as a tiny wave/particle, smaller than the fertilized egg of a butterfly. It contained already all the energy and physical laws, needed to make the whole material universe, during its different stages of growth, and to keep it going. That is, its main-program and its subprograms. Like programs, to make atoms, molecules, solar systems, galaxies, and heaps of galaxies. Each one of these subprograms is switched, on when needed, and remains dormant, until needed. It is not possible to reduce the biological laws to the physical laws, because the physical laws do not know anything about biological structures, about living creatures. Physical laws and biological laws are both something purely spiritual, non-material. They always come from a spiritual source, from an intelligent person: from the Creator, whose name is Jehovah, the God of the Bible.
